INTRODUCTION

   The Beijing Zhengdayinguang Science & Technology Company (BZSTC) and the Beijing Zhengdayinguang Foundry Company (BZFC), with the BZSTC as chief shareholder are the limited liability companies and invested based on modern enterprise norms by 30 natural persons and the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Mechanization Sciences (CAAMS), a central government subordinated large-size science-tech enterprise. BZSTC and BZFC are state level high-tech enterprises jointly set up by scientists who have brought along their scientific achievements together with the unit they former belonged to. The companies are located in Changping Park, Zhongguancun kejiyuan Area, Beijing. These companies have strong technical forces, of that 38% are research and development engineers including 9 professors and 13 senior engineers with 6 of above master's degree postgraduate record level.There are 300 employees in BZFC.

　　The main product of the Beijing Zhengdayinguang Science & Technology Company is alloy cored wire, a replacement of the traditional rare earth nodulizer. It has been applied widely in cast iron pipe and nodular graphite cast iron foundry industry and it has advantages in the improved working conditions, in the increase of nodularizing grade of castings and in the higher comprehensive performance. Being listed in the Beijing 2001~2002 Torch Planning Programme, the Si-Mg alloy cored wire is a product of the country's fist creation and has been applied for approval of the State Creation Patent. The product is being supplied in batches with companies such as the Xinxing Ductile Cast Iron Pipe Co.,ltd and The Capital Iron & Steel Company.Since 2003 BZSTC has exported cored wire to Korea、Indonesia and Taiwan and so on.

　　The main product of Beijing Zhengdayinguang Foundry Company is cast iron fittings.The fittings have been produced out of a science-tech achievement of a research project named "A study of The Production Technique and The Technological Equipment for Producing ductile Cast Iron Fittings by Vaccum Lost Foam Process" borne by CAAMS. The achievement won the First Prize of 1999 Scientific Progress of the Bureau of State Machine Building Industry and has registered in the State Invention Patent. The ductile cast iron fittings produced are in accordance in performance with the requirement of the ISO2531-1998 (E) and have reached an advanced international level.Under the name of Beijing Zhengdayinguang Science & Technology Co., Ltd.,ductile cast iron fittings are being exported（ranging DN80 ~ DN600）to Poland and Saudi Arabia.
